Authorities are searching for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, after she vanished from her Tucson-area home late Saturday night amid disturbing signs, including what appears to be blood on her front steps and missing items from inside the house. Investigators say Guthrie was likely taken against her will, are analyzing DNA, digital data, and medical device timelines, and are pushing back against rampant online speculation, including unsubstantiated reports of ransom notes and alleged suspects.
