24 Cats Frozen Alive in Disturbing ‘House of Horror’
A welfare check at a Trumann, Arkansas home uncovered horrific living conditions, drugs, and a disturbing secret revealed by a 10-year-old girl. Officers discovered nearly two dozen dead cats hidden in a freezer, along with evidence suggesting the animals were severely neglected and possibly frozen alive. The child was removed from the home, her mother and the mother’s boyfriend were charged with aggravated animal cruelty, and while Boddie Williams accepted a plea deal, Samantha Platz is still awaiting trial.
