In a recent interview, 42 Dugg recalled the tense moment when a shooting erupted during a February 2021 music video shoot with Roddy Ricch in Atlanta, resulting in three injuries. While Dugg was present, he insisted he had no involvement and initially thought the gunshots were part of the video production.
The Detroit rapper also discussed his collaboration with Future on the hit song “Maybach,” revealing he was in the studio as Future recorded the now-notorious line dissing Lori Harvey — “Tell Steve Harvey I don’t want to.” Dugg stated he recognized the lyrics would stir controversy and praised the chemistry they had on the track. Interestingly, he shared that he had originally sent the song to Roddy Ricch and Young Thug, who both passed on it before Future took it on.
Despite ongoing buzz, 42 Dugg said he and Roddy Ricch currently have no new music in the works but remain on good terms.
