In a recent interview, Baltimore Carl recounted a shocking incident where he shot his uncle during a staged robbery. The plan arose when his uncle came into possession of $1,500 intended for a marijuana purchase that never materialized. Struggling financially and seeking a risky quick fix, they devised a fake robbery: Carl was to shoot his uncle in the leg as part of the setup.
Carl described the nervous late-night encounter near Johns Hopkins Hospital in East Baltimore. Although reluctant, his uncle insisted Carl shoot him in the leg to avoid visible upper body scars. Carl fired, wounding his uncle, who then sought medical help nearby. To avoid police suspicion, Carl stayed away while relatives took the uncle to the hospital.
Despite police interest, Carl denied involvement, sticking to the robbery story. Reflecting on his youth, Carl shared how early arrests and a felony record from drug possession curtailed his prospects, leading him away from traditional career paths and college.
