What is most important when teaching during Black History Month? As a teacher of color there are a few things I have observed! This will definitely be more controversial than most of my videos!

Tips:
1. As a teacher take a look at your own cultural bias.
2. Focusing on the historical figures and the current cutlural figures of the time.
3. When teaching about history, focus on real photos and real facts, not just clip art and characatuers.
