The feeling of finally gaining recognition was empowering on her end, said Baltimore. Shifting gears to her feature in the lead single, “Down For You,” off the “Irv Gotti Presents” compilation album, the artist marked it as a turning point in her musical journey. The album peaked at number three and was certified Gold. At this stage, Nas was rumored to be joining Murder Inc. However, his signing did not pan out. Reflecting on her journey, Baltimore hinted things took a downward turn due to unmet expectations, shelved albums, and rising competition.
