In this clip, Charli Baltimore revealed she was with Biggie when he first heard 2Pac’s “Hit Em Up.” She described the track as “vicious” and “confusing” for Biggie. She claimed that Biggie was hurt and had trouble understanding Tupac’s animosity towards him. Despite anger from the Junior Mafia members over the track, Biggie put a stop to any planned retaliation, hoping instead to work out the issues with Tupac. Predictably, relations between Death Row and Bad Boy records turned sour, nearly turning into a physical altercation at the Soul Train Awards.
