Officers Santos and Moore were dispatched to a home around 1:50 a.m. on June 23 to respond to a report of a domestic dispute. They encountered a woman, 31 year old Aisha Nelson who was living at the home with her 6 year old daughter and her boyfriend, Dante Hawes. The couple was in a heated argument in front of each of their daughters. Aisha was begging officers to make Dante leave the home and claimed he had been waiving a gun around and threatening her life. The officers believed they had diffused the situation between the couple then left. Less than an hour later Aisha and her daughter would be dead. Welcome to Viral Crimes.
