Death Penalty on the Table for YouTuber Who Gunned Down Rival on Vegas Strip
A deadly feud between YouTubers erupted in real life when Manuel Ruiz, known online as “Sin City Manny,” allegedly shot and killed Rodney and Tanisha Finley while they were livestreaming on the Las Vegas Strip. Prosecutors say Ruiz fired seven shots in a crowded area and are now seeking the death penalty, arguing he posed a great risk to the public and that the attack was captured clearly on video. Ruiz claimed self-defense, saying he believed the couple was armed, but police say no weapons were found and video evidence shows him advancing toward the victims with a gun.
