Dismembered Teen’s Case Exposes ‘Botched’ Sex Assault Investigation
Fourteen-year-old Emily Pike’s remains were found in trash bags in Arizona in February. As investigators started digging into her life, they discovered that the teen had not only been removed from her home and put into a care home that she disliked, but that she had allegedly been sexually assaulted back in 2023.
