Charlamagne on Why Celebs Can Get Away With Wearing Fake Kicks – A while ago we broke the news about Jim Jones “Rare” Air Jordan 11 PE’s being fake, a story that all started from a small Instagram post from the Harlem sneakerhead. After getting the confirmation from our friend Soley Ghost, the debate was settled and Jones continued to do what he loves, buy and rock sneakers.

Since then a few people have made comments on the situation, like Dallas Mavericks sneakerhead Greg Smith and Rockets guard Nick Johnson. When Charlamagne came into the studio for an exclusive chat, we were also able to get his thoughts on the situation and his logic behind many other celebrities getting away with wearing fake brands.

Though Charlamagne admits that he could never get away with rocking fake sneakers, he gave a pretty interesting perspective on why Jim Jones can get away with wearing fake gear.

Check out the interview above to hear the rest of the story.
