De La Soul on “Eminem Is King” Comment: There Are Many Kings

http://www.vladtv.com – De La Soul opened up to VladTV about their thoughts on Star saying Eminem is the king of Hip-Hop, and said that they don’t fully agree with the statement.

While they believe that the “Rap God” emcee is great, the group clarified that he is a “king among kings.” Maseo adds into the conversation, “There’s more than one king. [Eminem] is a king in his own right, but so is Jay Z, and so is MF Doom.”

The conversation then turns to who De La Soul believes to be the true “king of Hip-Hop,” which spurs a complex answer that you can check out in full in the above clip.
