In this clip, Del the Funky Homosapien discussed his past use of psychedelic drugs. He detailed how taking a drug awareness class early on in life informed his choice about what drugs were okay to indulge in and which were not. Del also tied his interest in psychedelics to his area of origin, the Bay, and their counterculture roots which held psychedelics in high regard. He went on to talk about how that particular drug use influenced his second album.

Del also went into detail about the epic Bay Area battle between Hobo Junction and the Hieroglyphics. He said he removed himself from the beef because he just didn’t believe in it. The battle spilled over into the streets, resulting in physical altercations and a shootout.
