DeRay Davis on His Role in 2Pac Movie, Controversy Over John Singleton (Part 2)

Watch Part 1:
In this VladTV exclusive, DeRay Davis spoke about his role in the 2Pac move. Surprisingly, Davis mentioned that a scene was cut from the film.

Ultimately, he feels like Pac’s full story hasn’t been told. “ I think Pac’s best story was told through Pac’s eyes,” said Davis. He also thinks people had crazy expectations, and that they wanted every little detail to be perfect. Although the film wasn’t “perfect” he thinks it turned out good, especially with the resources they had.

Davis went on to say that people aren’t idolized while they are alive. While stating his point, he referred to artists like Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Nas as living legends.
