DJ Yella: We Got $80 Fine in Detroit For Doing ‘F*** Tha Police’

https://www.vladtv.com – Legendary NWA founder DJ Yella spoke exclusively to VladTV about which group members were involved in gangs. When asked specifically about Eazy-E, Yella said that the “Boyz-n-the-Hood” emcee was more into selling drugs, but in Compton at the time gang culture was apart of many of their neighborhoods.

During the sit-down Yella spoke about the FBI going after the group over their song “F*** tha Police,” claiming the agency sent them a letter to get them to stop performing the song. He added that another agency made them aware of protecting the group’s freedom of speech. Yella then shared a story about them getting ran off of the stage in Detroit over the protest song.
