https://www.vladtv.com – In an interview from Blurred Culture, Dom Kennedy names his top 3 rappers of all time, breaks down the importance of having a good team on your side, and talks the state of hip-hop in a recent sit-down with Steve Lobel.

When asked by Lobel to name his top 3 rappers of all time, the L.A. emcee lists Biggie, Tupac, and DJ Quik, whom Kennedy just worked with on the legendary rapper’s ‘The Midnight Life’ album.

Moving on, Kennedy touches on the importance of having a good team, and he explains that finding a few really good people that know the ins and outs of your business and goals is crucial, as it allows you to focus on moving forward and prevents burn out.

The topic then turns to the current state of hip-hop. “Music wise, it’s in a decent shape,” Kennedy says. “Business wise, it’s in the opposite. Let’s say music wise it’s a B+ and business wise it’s a D+.”
