Flashback: Bone Thugs Discuss 2Pac Confronting Them Over “Claiming Thug”

Flashback to this interview from 2015 when legendary group Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony spoke exclusively to VladTV about working with 2Pac, and they also shared a story about the legendary emcee having a miscommunication with them over using “thug” in their name.

Wish Bone explained, “There were some words said by Pac on the box about ‘Who is these dudes claiming ‘thugs’?,” you know how he was hot headed,” and he added that “things got squashed real quick” during an in-person meeting.

The group then spoke about letting their differences go on their hit track “Thug Love,” which Krayzie Bone said fans had been waiting on for a long time. He then added that they didn’t expect the song to be a huge hit, because they were just following their passion for music and collaborating with artists on their terms.
