Back in 2016, Cardi B spoke to VladTV about the attention she was getting over her “Cheap A** Weave” track and trying to help women around the world to make better decisions when buying a weave.

During the sit-down, Cardi also spoke about quitting her dance career to focus on writing her music, which she said took her about two days of listening to the beat and writing her rhymes. Speaking about her recent success, Cardi said that she’s not satisfied until she buys her mother a house.
