Flashback: Jaz-O Explains Issues with JAY-Z, Before Their Reconciliation

JAY-Z and his mentor Jaz-O had a very publicized falling out from a dispute over Jaz signing to Roc-A-Fella to Jaz potentially feeding NaS information during his beef with the Brooklyn Native. Hov and Jaz even spent time trading shots at each other on wax. Back in 2009, VladTV caught up with Jaz and he detailed why he continues to beef with Hov. It seemed as if the feud would never end.

As Jay has matured, killed the Jay Z that is his ego, and has grown more introspective it looks like he and Jaz have made amends. The two were spotted backstage at the Chicago stop of the “4:44” tour. Watch the clip above to hear why Jaz defended himself all those years ago.
