Back in 2015, Migos rappers Quavo and Takeoff opened up to VladTV about authenticity in the current state of hip-hop while talking about Ohio rapper Slim Jesus. They explained that it’s up to fans to decide if rappers are real or not, and Quavo added that rappers will be tested over their lyrics.
