In this clip, Godfrey gives some insight on how he impersonates multiple celebrities. Godfrey demonstrated his ability to impersonate Richard Pryor, Denzel Washington, Donald Trump, and Stewie from Family Guy. Godfrey spoke on his method of capturing a subject’s voice while also discussing how he learned from other comedians and took from their process in order to perfect his own.

Godfrey also discussed how impersonations has led to British actors coming to America to play American roles because of their handle on the American accent. Case in point, Idris Elba landing his role in The Wire. But Godfrey believes if given the opportunity he could smash a British role especially if it’s a Guy Ritchie film.
