The famed activist said that he’s been in the studio working with NY-based producer Southpaw, whom he credits with motivating him to get back in the booth.

Speaking more about his project Immortal Technique said that he’s never been one to comment on the latest in current events, and he tells listeners not to look out for punchlines about Caitlyn Jenner or the war in Syria. He added, “I’m trying to make in-depth music about things that matter to people and things that need a little more analysis.”

During the conversation the “Dance With the Devil” emcee also spoke about the dedication that he puts toward his craft, especially when it comes to touring.
