Kap G on Skipping Street Life: I Ain’t No Gangster

Raised in a big family, Kap G says it was easy for him to avoid any trouble growing up in Atlanta. Living in a two-parent home along with his five siblings, he says it wasn’t necessary to throw himself in the street life. “I ain’t even going to lie. I’m going to keep it a hundred.” He explained, “I ain’t no gangster. I ain’t trying to be nothing out here. I’m just me.”

As the interview continues, the rapper lists his favorite rappers from Atlanta (besides himself), he talks about signing to Atlantic Records and explains why he’s unbothered about his ethnicity being brought up. View the interview above.
