Shedding light upon why the classic ‘sky hook’ move isn’t as relevant in today’s game, Kareem expresses that the move isn’t taught to young players anymore, while he learned it at a very young age.

When discussing the All-Star Game in NYC, Abdul-Jabbar gives credit to Pau and Marc Gasol when it comes to their hard work and dedication to the growth of their games respectively.

Kareem was also able to touch upon the impact on international players becoming more popular within the NBA and he also feels that soon many teams will consist of a numerous amount of international players, with even more professional leagues overseas as well.
