New York decides between Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.
The topic of conversation for this week’s Word On The Street episode, centers around two highly-praised MCs, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. With both MCs recently trading remixes, each killing the other’s song, the two artists have been on our mind. More to the point, their mythologized joint album has been on our mind. Last weekend Kendrick’s sister posted-then-deleted that the joint project would finally arrive on February 16th– while we’re unsure if that’s going to stick, we can dream about it right?
We took to the NYC streets to find out which MC people are fucking with more these days, and what they think about a possible joint project– one fan spits back some of J. Cole’s bars to us, which back up that February release date. P.S. one dude calls J. Cole a “ballad” singer??? Which Cole is he listening too?
