https://www.vladtv.com – Lord Jamar sat down with VladTV and shared his thoughts on debating Royce Da 5’9 over Twitter concerning his statement in a previous VladTV interview that Eminem is “just like” other white rappers, saying Em benefits from the same white privilege that Macklemore, Iggy Azalea, and others receive. Royce argued that Em has made contributions to the culture and shouldn’t be lumped in with others based solely on his race, saying he put on 7 good brothers from Detroit and helped promote battle rap through his film, 8 Mile.

Jamar’s response to both of those arguments is literally, “so what?” He feels Eminem putting on his friends from Detroit doesn’t mean much, as most rappers do the same thing when they get on. He also says that Smack is far more important and pivotal in the progression of battle rap culture than Eminem.
