MC Eiht on West Coast Artists Losing their Identity Trying to Following Trends

It’s been ten years since MC Eiht has dropped a solo album, and the West Coast legend blessed fans with the release of Which Way Iz West in June. The album features collaborations with the likes of Kurupt, Bumpy Knuckles, B-Real, Xzibit, Dub C, BIg Mike, and many more, and MC Eiht spoke about his aim for the album during a recent interview with VladTV. 

Eiht explained that he is trying to preserve the West Coast sound and the foundation for the movement with his new project, as he added that a lot of West Coast artists were following trends and losing their identity in recent years.
