Remember When Kevin Durant Ruined the 4th of July?

Kevin Durant announced that he was signing with the Golden State Warriors on July 4, 2016. In the process, he ruined a lot of people’s 4th of July celebrations. Many NBA fans and Oklahoma City Thunder fans in particular were unhappy with KD’s decision to take his talents to the Bay Area. They reacted to his decision strongly on social media, and they accused him of chasing a ring with the Warriors. KD did end up winning his first NBA title with Golden State, but one year later, there are still many fans who haven’t gotten over him leaving the Thunder.
