Ron Newt has admittedly lived a fast paced life, including an escape from prison, which he spoke about exclusively with VladTV. Newt explained to us that after his sons, The Newtrons, left Jackson Records they were in the process of signing a deal with MCA, which couldn’t happen unless Ron was present. However, while the deal was being made, Ron was locked up on what he said was a trumped up gun charge. Ron added that in order to get the deal signed, he escaped from prison, and he stayed on the run for the next two years.

During the conversation Newt also spoke to us about rumors that he brought an oozie and a hand grenade into the MCA Records offices to get out of a contract. He explained that after leaving the offices and coming back for a second time to deal with the situation, he was met by the SWAT Team, but Ron says that he was completely unarmed.

Moving along, Ron spoke with VladTV about his lawsuit against Terrence Howard, Lee Daniels, and more people involved the making of FOX’s Empire, which he claims ripped off his life story. Newt told us that he had a meeting with Terrence at a hotel, where he claims the actor ripped off his life story after promising that he would work with Ron on developing a show about his exciting life.

Check out more of what Ron had to say on the situation above.
