Minnesota’s local rap scene is a boiling pot of talent as of late. Standing under the pot with a flame is Baby Shel, an emcee of Ojibwe heritage who grew up on a reservation on Red Lake. Opening up about how great it felt to bless the Soundset stage he speaks on his heritage on how life on the reservation relates to the struggle found in rap music.
