Take a Look Into the Sneaker Store of the Future

This past week, our video team took a trip to Berlin to see the sights and take in some of the German city’s culture. For sneaker lovers, that means visiting Berlin’s premier sneaker boutique, Solebox.

Known for its early collaborations with New Balance and more recently its work with adidas and Diadora, Solebox also has a one-of-a-kind retail operation. How so, you might ask? Well, there’s a robot in the stock room. To get a better understanding of Solebox’s new store that’s been open since last year, we met up with the shop’s co-owner, Hikmet Sugoer, who’s been in the sneaker business for 15 years. You’ll not only see what makes the store special, but also get a peek at some unreleased sneakers, too.

Those looking to get into the sneaker industry themselves will learn a few valuable lessons as well.
