https://www.vladtv.com – Like Charlamagne, Lord Jamar hasn’t taken a seat on the Vlad Couch for quite some time, so it’s only right that we asked him about literally every topic that has taken over the hip-hop world in the past month or so. When asked about his thoughts on the Drake versus Meek Mill beef, it wasn’t surprising when he called it “bulls***.” “If I’m gonna look at it from a historical perspective, if I pull back and I look at all the battles and the great battles in hip-hop history, this one ain’t s***,” he tells us, admitting that none of the tracks were true “classics.”
This led him to a conversation on ghostwriting and Ar-Ab, a Philly lyricist Lord Jamar wasn’t familiar with until the interview. Upon further listen, the Brand Nubian says “he kind blew both of them away to me…That’s some s*** I would play back to back.” He then compares Drake to Ar-Ab – favoring Ar-Ab more – before jumping into another hip-hop beef.
