You can count the hip hop albums that went diamond (10 million records sold) on two hands. It took Nelly’s Country Grammar 16 years to eclipse the diamond benchmark, and given the rapidly evolving way in which we consume music, it could be years before another rap album does the same.

Our latest video counts the down the five best-selling rap albums of all time. It is worth noting that Eminem is the only rapper with a top-5 best-selling SINGLE album — everything else is a double album, meaning each sale counted twice.
