https://www.vladtv.com – Many people may or may not know how much of the elements of today’s hip hop culture were pioneered by Uncle Luke. This includes but is not limited to his creation of the “Parental Advisory” sticker.

In this exclusive sit down with VladTV, the Miami legend recalls the complaints he was getting from parents about 2 Live Crew’s songs. In an effort to differentiate edited and explicit versions of songs, Luke came up with the sticker. While the parental advisory sticker has become a staple in music culture, Luke admitted he should have patented the item.

During the conversation he also shared details about his new book, The Book of Luke: My Fight For Truth, Justice, and Liberty City. Luke also revealed that he never wanted to join a rap group, which you can hear more about above.
