Warriors & Knicks Pay Tribute to Craig Sager

The death of NBA broadcasting icon Craig Sager on Thursday was an emotional moment for many in the league, including Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr. At Thursday night’s game against the Knicks, Kerr paid tribute to Sager with a touching speech. At the end of his talk, though, Kerr asked for an alternative to the usual moment of silence. He recalled Sager’s inimitable spirit, and then asked for a “moment of joy” and applause.
