Before achieving acclaim for “I’m Not Racist,” Joyner Lucas was hitting the Internet with captivating visuals. In 2015, the Worcester, MA rapper released a chilling outside perspective of the incident involving 17-year-old Ross Capicchioni on his latest single titled after the victim mentioned above. The video is based on the true story of Ross who survived after a “friend” used him as a part of an initiation.

Watch on as Joyner raps from the point of views of both Capicchioni and his friend. Be sure to check out his debut mixtape “Along Came Joyner.”
