Florida Mom ’Snaps’ Shooting Husband Dead During Family BBQ
A Florida mom, Denise Malcolm, fatally shot her husband Rohan Malcolm in their home on Labor Day weekend 2024, while their twin sons were inside—one of whom called 911 after hearing the gunshots. During her police interrogation, Denise confessed she “snapped” after years of marital issues and suspected infidelity, admitting the final shot to the head was intentional and that she originally planned to turn the gun on herself. She ultimately pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 21 years in prison, with her children now in the custody of a guardian.
