Fugitive Lovers with AK-47 Busted in Wild Drug Raid
Police in Albuquerque arrested Merena Perez and Xavier Garcia at a motel where they allegedly had over $1 million in heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl, along with cash, firearms, and an AK-47. Officers initially approached the room to serve Perez a felony warrant and saw drugs and a gun in plain view, prompting a full search. Garcia attempted to flee by jumping from the second floor but was tracked down by a drone. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart shows us the bodycam on this episode of Cop Cast.
