Bravo alleged that the CDCR’s Office of Internal Affairs issued two search warrants against him under dubious claims. He resigned in December 2022, anticipating retaliation but hoping to expose internal malfeasance. The CDCR allegedly subpoenaed Google for his personal information, claiming Bravo had violated internal policy, but he asserts their actions breached his First and Fourth Amendment rights.
