One of Donald Trump’s last acts as President of United States was the commutations for over 100 people, such as Lil Wayne or Kodak Black. The Washington Post says thatTrump did not mention Jimmy Henchman, 50 cent’s longtime foe.
Henchman, real name James Rosemond, was indicted for four murders of G-Unit affiliate Lowell Mack Fletcher, which included murder-for-hire as well as conspiracy to commit murder. Tony Yayo allegedly executed the hit in retaliation to Henchman’s assault on his son. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison plus life.
Celebrities such as Jim Brown, a retired legend of the National Football League, and Michael K. Williams ,, have argued that Henchman was wrongly convicted. They campaigned for President Barack Obama to give him clemency, and it worked. Trump called Brown and Monique last December and said: “Let’s bring this guy home for Christmas.”
Brown became convinced that Trump had plans to commute Henchman’s sentence by the end of the conversation. However, January arrived without any confirmation that he had been released.
According to Henchman’s lawyers, the verbal agreement between Trump & Browns must be upheld.
His attorneys filed a 20-page petition stating that Rosemond was serving a sentence that does not exist. “This is an unprecedented situation. It does not seem to have ever happened in American history.” Jimmy is not a prisoner for another day.
