Rapper Busta Rhymes was hit with three assault charges Tuesday after he allegedly lashed out at his assistant for being on his phone during work, law enforcement sources tell The Post.
Cops said Rhymes punched the 50-year-old in the face several times, leaving him with swelling in his left eye.
Rhymes, 52, whose real name is Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., turned himself in after the Jan. 10 incident, which took place inside a luxe condominium complex — J Condominium — in Dumbo, according to sources. #bustarhymes
