BREAKING: Things Just Took A Turn For The Worst For Bobby Smurda

Bobby Shmurda nearly came to blows with a fan Saturday night at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia.

TMZ captured footage of the incident, which sees the Brooklyn rapper having to be restrained by his crew after someone throws a water bottle in his direction. A source told the news outlet that the near altercation happened during Megan Thee Stallion’s performance.

Bobby is on parole and must follow strict conditions. Fortunately, one of his men was able pull him from the scene. TMZ recorded video of Bobby running towards a barricade before he attempted to jump into the crowd. He was then taken into custody by his camp members. As people around him are shoved away, chaos breaks out. The situation was stopped by his team members, who pulled the rapper from it before it escalated into an altercation.

Bobby is currently rapping his first time since being released in February after a six year bid. He has performed at many shows and was freed in February. He is currently on parole through February 23, 2026. He is not allowed to drink alcohol or go to bars (non-work related) while on supervised release. He must also take substance abuse tests and receive counseling for aggression and anger.

Bobby released “No Time For Sleep” (Freestyle) this week. This is his first song since being released. He’s currently prepping his debut album, which he has confirmed to have worked with Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo and maybe Jay-Z on.
