On Friday (Jan.17), Donald Trump’s supporters piled into the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C, to celebrate the President-elect before he heads to the Oval Office. Several entertainers attended the event, including Snoop Dogg. However, after clips of his performance at Trump’s “Crypto Ball,” were shared online he received an onslaught of criticism.
The decision likely didn’t go over well with fans, especially with the several controversial comments Donald Trump made throughout his campaign — including a comment about people of Haitian descent eating “cats and dogs.“Rick Ross and Soulja Boy were also in attendance, offering performances of their own. Not long after, a clip of Snoop Dogg began circulating where he referred to Black artists who performed at Trump’s 2016 Inauguration as “Uncle Toms.” However, it looks like he’s changed his tune. #snoopdogg #donaldtrump
