Marshawn Lynch Arrested
Former Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch was arrested on Tuesday, for drunk driving, after being pulled over by police in near the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. The LVMPD apprehended the 36-year-old around 7:25 am on Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue because the five-time Pro Bowl running back was allegedly swerving his vehicle into curbs on the roadside before coming to a traffic stop.
“Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was impaired and conducted an arrest,” LVMPD said. “Lynch was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and booked for driving under the influence.”
Lynch played his last NFL game for the Seattle Seahawks back in 2019. He currently ranks 29th amongst the NFL’s all-time leading rushers. There is no word yet on whether or not the LVMD will levy more charges against the former NFL running back.
