T.I. Dropped a video on His instagram yesterday, going in on the Sha’Carri Richardson debacle.Richardson first appeared in the USA Track & Field 100-meter race last month, but it’s unclear if he will later test positive for marijuana, lose victory and be banned from participating in the Tokyo Olympics. She likes to win and will be the first US gold medal at this event since 1996.
As for why weeds were used across the border, he explained the day the reporter arrived just before the trial and said his mother had died.
Reporters told her that her real mother had died shortly before the trial.
Richardson has been suspended for a month by USADA and will not be able to compete in the Olympic 100-meter race, but it has not yet been decided whether to allow the relay team to participate in Tokyo. USA Track & Field officials called it “very unfortunate and devastating to all involved.” The organization seems to be sympathetic … so let’s see what they are doing.
