The Hip Hop Literacy Laboratory at Marbut Traditional Theme School is an interactive, interdisciplinary experience for our students to explore a culture that inspires, entertains, and informs them. The Hip Hop Literacy Laboratory experience consists of student discussions, writing activities, poetry analysis, book studies, and responses to literature related to the African American experience and urban youth culture.
