Virtual Debate: Candace Owens Pt. 1

In todays video I change things up by having a virtual debate against Candace Owens. Well, Its more like me watching one of her videos and debating it by myself, however I hope there is something in it for you guys to enjoy!

I do want to make it clear, I am not trying to condemn Candace Owens, I just happen to have some different views on this situation than she does.

On a side note, although I dont have the chance to talk about it on camera Candace spends some time talking about the 911 call transcript, saying that the caller said that Floyd was, and I quote “out of his mind high” and that they said they were “fearful”. Since watching Candace’s video I have had the chance to read the 911 transcript, and in fact they said that “He is awfully drunk and hes not in control of himself” Following that up with “He is not acting right”. There is no indication of being fearful, in fact the caller feels safe enough to ask the operator how their day is going.

Candace appears to be saying that Floyd was out of his mind high, and that the shop keeper was fearful in an effort to demonize him. Being drunk is NOT the same as being high on drugs, “(not) acting right” is not “out of his mind”, and “How is your day going?” is not fear. It is not illegal to be drunk, Floyd didn’t get in his car and started driving, and he was not being pulled over for drunk driving. It may differ state to state, though I would like to see the Minneapolis/Minnesota state law that says a person can be arrested for drunk driving sometime in the past.

Candace, if you would like to make a rebuttal I would be happy to debate you. Part two is on the way!
