In a candid interview with VladTV, Hunter Biden opened up about the depth of his addiction following the 2015 death of his brother, Beau Biden, from brain cancer. Hunter said Beau’s passing contributed to a devastating spiral, explaining that he separated from his wife soon after and entered rehab as loved ones feared for his safety.
He recalled relapsing after outpatient treatment and buying crack for the first time about a year later, describing it as an act tied to a “conscious, subconscious intent” to harm himself. Biden spoke about the degrading lows of addiction, including crawling across motel carpets with bloody fingers searching for anything that resembled crack.
He also revealed several dangerous encounters while trying to buy drugs, saying guns were drawn on him in Delaware, Nashville and Los Angeles. In one Los Angeles incident, he said he was robbed at gunpoint in a tent area downtown.
