A cyclist was shocked when they found a teenage girl battling for her life on the side of a rural Wisconsin road. The young girl was rushed to a hospital and survived what was clearly an attempted murder. Waukesha investigators found her attackers a few hours later — Morgan Geyser and Anissa E. Weier, her classmates. Geyser and Weier said Slender Man, a fictional character, told them to do it.
