Inside the Twisted Killing of Reggaeton Star El Taiger
Reggaeton singer El Taiger was found unconscious in the back of an SUV with a gunshot wound to the head and later died, sparking a murder investigation that revealed he had been dragged from outside Damian Valdez Galloso’s home and placed in the vehicle. Surveillance footage, conflicting 911 calls, and Galloso’s inconsistent statements led police to arrest him, eventually upgrading his charges from second-degree to first-degree murder, though prosecutors chose not to pursue the death penalty. Galloso remains in jail without bond as investigators continue to probe the motive, with speculation ranging from a debt dispute to a possible drug deal gone wrong.
